Lia is getting to be a really stable sitter! She now eats with her girlfriends (see below)! AND she is looking and acting totally different. It's like she turned from an infant into a social, active, singing, babbling, baby! :) AND she MIGHT even look a little like her mommy all of a sudden..... while she is 99.8% her dad, there is something there! :) She is really settling into the 2 nap routine here! AND of course, she is still the happiest/ easiest baby the world has ever known! :)
Sophia is now pulling to stand and push on EVERYTHING! She puts in her time worshiping our Chico god here, but also favors all our kitchen chairs! I've even seen her free stand a few times! She spent the break working on getting her left front top tooth out and the other side is RIGHT there waiting to break through. She does this bone chilling teeth grinding move to help it along..... all babies do it, but it still gives me a good "nails on a chalkboard" feeling! :) She is eating more and more solids, but strange textures aren't her favorites! :) She started a separation anxiety phase. Some mornings she lets a few wimpers out when she sees dad go, but overall, she is just happy to be here and breaking in all Maddi and Michaela's new xmas toys! :)
AND it appears that all kids are enjoying old toys that have been put away for a bit. I brought out the exersaucer after putting it away for a month or 2 and it is the CENTER of attention for EVERYONE. Not that Lia seems to mind! :)
