With a new school year ahead, lots of personal goals are set and new routines made. For one, Michaela needs to limit her pacifier activity. Thank God her language has not been affected by her addiction, and with a new baby and all the changes involved, I tried to keep my demands on her soothing habits minimal. BUT with a new school year and 3 babies at our house using the same Avent Binkis or Pacis, I decided it was time to keep that bink in BED ONLY!! Day one was a tough one. She requested it constantly and would go to visit it regularly. I don't mind her hopping in to bed for a quick "fix", but we had many many battles when she would bring it out of her room. She'll get there, but in the mean time, I wanted to share with you the addiction at it's worst this summer. I hang my head in shame! :)

Tubing with the Binky (sly mom is trying to get it out before the pic is snapped, but that hand was not quick enough)
AND swimming with friends AND Binky.
HAHA! I had never noticed that MJ was such a binky girl until you put it all together in one poast. (The "peer pressure" pictures cracked me up!) I know it's a pain to get rid of the beloved binky, but I still wish that my children had liked theirs.
