Between rainy and cold days and warm and sunny, we've seen our fair share of rolly pollys (sp?) and worms surface! Even if they don't come to us, we have NO problem digging them out from under rocks or soil! :) We also catch lady bugs, slugs, ants, and caterpillars. Maddi has come a long way in her bug interest and touching. Lia, Sophia, and Billy are natural entomologists! And then poor Michaela has a full blown case of insectophobia. She is doing well with her friends and her full blown "immersion" therapy! :) Here is some pictures of our bug searches, finds, and habitats!
While they were up there digging, I geared them with gloves and my gardening tools and encouraged them to weed and till the garden for the upcoming crop of summer veggies! :) Two birds. One stone!
