I am so excited for the start of a whole new year! This beginning is so different for all of us! Caitlin will be starting at a new school. Cait & Kristen will be leaving their babies for the first time. I will not be teaching at Seckman Middle School this year. And I have the pleasure of being home with my girls (a dream I've always had), and the honor of having Sophia and Liana to play with and grow with this year! :)
I keep trying to think of things that I have wanted through all of my childcare settings, and I will use that desire to create the best place ever for both my children and yours! :) For starters, I always wanted to know what was going on with my girls every day. When they don't have a voice for themselves, I found myself obsessing on being their advocate.... meaning I needed to know every eat, sleep, poop, and event of every second of every day. While this blog won't go into those kind of details daily, I hope it gives a good snapshot of how our year is progressing and how the girls are all doing together! :)
I have made this blog private. I wouldn't want pictures of my girls floating around the internet, and I would assume you would want the same courtesy. I have invited just the moms and one dad (Kristen, I need your husband's email address) to view this blog. I am open to sharing it with other people also. I think some of my previous teacher friends may eventually want to peek at it or follow what I'm doing. Maybe some grandmas or other friends that you may want to share pictures with or something. It is all fine with me, as long as we have control over who has access. I can put any of the parents on as blog account managers so you can add people yourself, or you can send email addresses to me and I will invite them to view!
I cannot tell you how excited I am for this adventure to begin! :) I love spending time with my girls, and I know your girls will bring me the same joys! :) Good luck on a new school year! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make this tough transition easier for you! :)
